Speaking to journalist in Abuja on Thursday, June 29, Okorocha urged Nigerians to treat Kanu as a young man seeking relevance.
Meanwhile, the Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo has warned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to stop arrogating to itself the supreme leadership of Igbo land.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the president-general of the organisation, John Nwodo, issued the warning in Awka on Thursday, June 29 while addressing members of the Anambra House of Assembly.
It is reported that IPOB, led by Nnamdi Kanu, had urged Anambra people to boycott the governorship election slated for November.
IPOB warned the people of the state to stay off the election except its demands are met before the date of the exercise.
According to Nwodo, Kanu’s call is not only provocative and misleading but also unproductive.
