His words: “There is nothing wrong in pursuing and promoting your ethnic agenda. What is wrong is seeking to destroy other ethnic groups while doing so.
“Some ethnic agitators calling for division don't want to 'free' their people; they rather want smaller territories that they can also dominate.
“Ironically, some ethnic agitators who pretend to champion d cause to free their people, end up turning those same people to their own slaves.”
Keyamo stated that what is more important for the agitators is to focus on ensuring respect for the individual rights of Nigerians wherever they reside and not the championing of ethnicity.
“A slave is a slave, irrespective of the master. If u bow before your kinsman or a 'foreigner', you're a slave. Fight for human rights, not ethnicity,” he added.
Meanwhile, the federal government has demanded that the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu be returned to prison.
The government urged the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja to revoke the bail it granted Kanum, arguing that the IPOB leader had not only breached the conditions attached to his bail but had conducted himself in manners that threaten public peace.
