The Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Jonathan Andrew Nok, is dead.

Nok died at the age of 55. As at the time of filing this report, circumstances leading his sudden death was still sketchy.
He was born on 11 February 1962, hailed from Nok Village in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Until his appointment as the Commissioner of Health and Human Services; and later Commissioner for Education by Governor Nasir el-Rufai, Nok (MFR), was a professor of Biochemistry at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and also the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the ABU.
