A whistleblower who gave an information to ICPC in Bauchi Zonal Office that a retired civil servant, named Sanusi Muhammad Isa, who is a close associate of the former Governor of Bauchi state, Malam Isa Yuguda, and had served as personal assistant to the former Governor, has accused the Chairman of Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC of conspiracy and bribery allegations, report according Citizens United for Peace and Stability, CUPS detailed
According, CUPS, the information furnished to the ICPC by the whistleblower led to the discovery of 200 houses, belonging to Sanusi Muhammad Isa, which are allegedly worth over N20 billion. See attached property pictures and court documents. There are allegedly more houses which the ICPC is yet to recover.

CUPS reported that, whenever the whistleblower visits the ICPC zonal office in Bauchi to enquire about progress of the case, he is told that the case has been sent to their Headquarters and is awaiting legal proceedings.
He was made to understand from a reliable source from within the High Court in Bauchi that there was an interim perpetual order that was filed by ICPC one month ago, but the ICPC are not ready to argue it because of alleged conspiracy between the accused and the ICPC Chairman. The order was filed in Hight Court no 4 in Bauchi.

CUPS was made to understand that the Acting Chairman of ICPC, Alhaji Bako Abdullahi, who is also from Bauchi State, has allegedly taken bribes worth millions from the accused, Sanusi Muhammead Isa, to kill off the case. Hence the alleged lack of interest by the ICPC to argue the case at the High Court.
It can be recalled that Alhaji Bako Abdullahi was nominated as Member of ICPC by Mallam Isa Yuguda, when he was the Governor of Bauchi state.
