President Muhamamdu Buhari is currently presiding over a Security Council Meeting in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari and the nation’s service chiefs are currently having a meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja, the president's media aide, Bashir Ahmad disclosed on Twitter.

Although details of the meeting have not been disclosed, it may be connected with the attacks by suspected herdsmen in parts of the country, especially the north-central states.

Also in attendance at the meeting on Monday, February 12, are Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the corps marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), as well as the comptroller general of Immigrations.
