Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria's vice president is currently in a closed door meeting with the governors of Adamawa, Ebonyi, Plateau, Kaduna, and Zamfara states, and deputy governors of Benue and Oyo states.
The Sun reports that the meeting is said to be the working group formed in the last National Economic Council meeting (NEC).
Governors from Zamfara, Kaduna, Adamawa, Benue, Taraba, Edo, Plateau, Ebonyi and Oyo states are said to be part of the working group.

The working group was said to have been formed to find lasting solution to the lingering crises between farers and hersdmen in some part of the country, especially in Adamawa, Benue, Taraba, Plateau and Nasarawa states.
The news outlet also reported that the working group concluded in its inaugural meeting that the crisis also required a political solution.
Meanwhile, We had reported that the inspector-general of police, Ibrahim Idris, on Monday, January 15, convened a peace meeting with governors and stakeholders from Benue and Nasarawa states to discuss and find a lasting solution to the incessant farmers/herdsmen clash in the states.

Sahara Reporters, however, reported that the meeting was postponed as stakeholders such as the two governors from the two, Samuel Ortom and Tanko Almakura, were not present.
We gathered that the secretary to the Benue state government, Anthony Ior, called for the postponement of the meeting to give room for the state governors and other stakeholders to participate.
