A saddening picture of abandoned helicopters belonging to the defunct government-owned power company - National Electric Power Authority (NEPA) has been unearthed by a media company.
Available reports have it that the helicopters were never put to use.
According to Sahara Reporters who shared the photo, funds allocated to make the helicopters fully operational ended up in private pockets.
“This was how defunct NEPA officials squandered funds meant to boost electricity buying helicopters that were never put to use." the online news platform assert.
