Former Destiny's Child Star Kelly Rowland Won Her Role In Tv Drama Empire After Bumping Into Series Creator Lee Daniels At A Workout.
The singer and the director found themselves at the same SoulCycle class in Los Angeles and started chatting.
"Myself and Lee, we were dressed in our SoulCycle fits (gear) and we had a blast," Rowland says. "We were actually in there with an amazing instructor, Angela Davis, she was whipping us into shape.
"We were yelling across the room and then we actually got together afterwards; it was perfect."
And Daniels isn't the only fellow celebrity who attends Rowland's SoulCycle classes.
"David Beckham sometimes sits in the front," she adds.
