Nicole Scherzinger made a classic choice by wearing a little black dress to the American Ballet 75th Anniversary Fall Gala on Wednesday.
But the singer's simple frock made a dramatic impact, thanks to some huge ruffled silk sleeves which transformed the star's silhouette.
Nicole, 37, appeared pleased with her unique look as she posed up a storm at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City.
The songstress and TV personality wore her long lightened locks up in a pretty bun and wore thick glossy red lips and nail polish to up the glam factor.
Complementing the look, Nicole opted for a pair of suede Louboutin pointed heels.
The hem of the dress hit just over the knee to display the songstress' slender legs.
Something a little different: Nicole wore a little black dress with ruffle sleeves for the event making for a dramatic sillouette
Earlier this week the former Pussycat Dolls troupe member appeared on the Today Show and talked about her stint on variety show Best Time Ever.
Gushing about the new project, Nicole enthused: 'I’m having the best time ever. No it’s crazy it goes by really fast. It’s obviously fast-paced it’s one hour long.'
Speaking about cos-star Neil Patrick Harris she added: 'He’s very inspiring. I thought I was a crazy person and that I just love work but I’ve met my match with him.'
