The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd.) has approved the appointment of six acting Deputy Comptrollers-General (DCGs) of Customs in the on-going re-organisation in the Service.
Ali announced this on Monday in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Nigerian Customs Service (NCS), Wale Adeniyi.
He said the affected officers, who were of the rank of Assistant Comptroller-General (ACGs), will occupy the positions of DCGs in acting capacity.
He listed the newly appointed acting DCGs to include ACG Idris Suleiman (Finance Administration and Technical Service), ACG Iya Umar (Tariff and Trade), ACG Dan Ugo (Enforcement Investigation and Inspection), ACG Grace Adeyemo (Excise, FTZ & Industrial Incentive), ACG Austin Warikoru (Human Resource Development), and ACG Paul Ukaigwe (Strategic Research and Policy)
