An uncle to the Emir of Kano, Salim Abubakar Bayero has withdrawn a lawsuit filed against the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II over his plans to demolish some of the structures within the palace.
An uncle to the Emir of Kano, Salim Abubakar Bayero has withdrawn a lawsuit filed against the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sunusi II over his plans to demolish some of the structures within the palace.
The Emir had been issued an interim court order last week by a Kano high court presided by Justice A.T Badamasi restraining him from demolishing any structures within the palace pending the determination of the case.
A palace source told Saharareporters that an application to end the case has been filed before the court after intervention by elders within the family of the Emir and that of his uncle.
