Police has arrested a 27-year-old security guard in Nairobi- Samson Malesi, for killing his wife’s lover on Sunday, November 1, after finding them in bed.
The 27-year-old reportedly caught his wife and her lover in their home.
Geoffrey Simiyu, Bungoma South police boss who confirmed the story said the father of four has been arrested and will be charged with murder as soon as investigations are complete.
According The Star, the victim- Simon Wafula, 37, was stabbed several times in the stomach.
However, the story did not quite end at just stabbing, as Malesi allegedly went on to drive a nail into Wafula’s head, killing him instantly.
Witnesses said Malesi stormed in on the two after relatives and neighbours tipped him of an ongoing affair.
Relatives and neighbours tipped the enraged husband on the affairs of his wife.
Beatrice- Wafula’s wife of eight years , told The Star that her husband had left home to attend a funeral in the neighboring village on Sunday night
She said: “We were shocked to receive the news that my husband, whom we have five children with, had been killed after being found with another man’s wife.”
Officials say there is no clue as to where Malesi’s wife disappeared to after the incident.
Many get to handle issues of cheating in relationships in diverse ways. In a recent report, a pregnant woman crushed her husband’s testicles after she learnt that he was cheating on her.
