Apple ‘doubles iPhone’s battery life’ with new £80 case

Help is at hand if your iPhone’s always running out of juice – with an official Apple phone case which ‘doubles’ battery life.

There’s just two snags – one, the Apple Smart Battery Case is £80, and two, it only works with the new iPhone 6 and 6S models.

Oh yeah, and it’s kind of quite big, if that’s the sort of thing that bothers you.

It’s similar to existing products by Mophie and other manufacturers, but Apple claims their version is better, as you can see how much battery life is available on the phone’s screen.

With rival models, you can’t.
