Full face veils might be ban in west Africa following recent bombings by Boko Haram terror group.
According to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) president, Kadre Desire Ouedraogo the union is considering “measures that would forbid this kind of dress that will not allow security personnel to be sure of their identities.”
“Certain dress codes, which make identification of the persons concerned difficult, may considerably hinder actions geared towards protecting people and properties,” said Ouedraogo.
Recall that Boko Haram started using female suicide bombers by hiding explosives in their loose-fitting clothes.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian government has revealed that the outlawed Boko Haram terror group is planning another sensational abduction of pupils/students or foreigners in a desperate effort to raise funds, through ransom, for food, medical and arms supply.
