The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Bayelsa state, Chief Timipre Sylva has described his opponent in the inconclusive election, and incumbent Governor, Seriake Dickson as a betrayer and interloper.
Sylva, while speaking with the Nation newspaper over the stalemate in the recent gubernatorial elections held in the state, said Dickson was made commissioner under Jonathan for betraying the late Alamieseigha.
On the political journey of Governor Dickson, Sylva said: ”He was a member of the AD at that time and then later,I think he became a member of the ANPP at a time, he was never even a member of the PDP.
”When I was in PDP, he was not even in PDP, he was just an interloper that joined to get the benefit. Has he worked for that party? Because as far as I know after contributing to the impeachment of Alamieseigha, he came here and as compensation, he was made a commissioner.
”That was how he came to the PDP; he was made a commissioner as a compensation for the role he played in the impeachment of Alamieseigha.
”Then he became a member of the House of Representatives because of his perceived loyalty to the former President and then a governor because they were the people who told all kind of lies to the former President and set him up against me. So, he became a beneficiary of lies.”
