The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has invited former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo (a.k.a Tompolo), for questioning.
Channels Tv reports that Tompolo was given one week to appear before the commission or he will be declared wanted.
According to a letter from the EFCC, the commission is investigating the ex-militant for unclear dealings involving the sale of parcels of land worth about 13 billion naira to the federal government under the last administration.
The ex-militant is expected to appear at the EFCC training room on Thursday, December 17.
Earlier this week, the EFCC froze the accounts of Global West Vessel Specialists Nigeria Limited, which is owned by Tompolo.
In November, a similar invitation was extended to the ex-militant by the head of operations at the EFCC, Iliasu Kwabai, but he failed to appear and no correspondence was received from him.
