Inside the house where boy, 7, was ‘murdered by father and stepmother and fed to pigs’

When Jennifer Hoevers returned to the rural Kansas City home she had rented out to a family, she found dead mice, cages full of rats, syringes, poison and pornographic videos.

The house’s previous occupants were Heather and Michael Jones, who were arrested on a series of charges including the murder of Michael’s seven-year-old son Adrian, who the pair allegedly fed to pigs.

Michael Jones, 44, and Heather, 29, were arrested when police, who had been notified Adrian was missing, found human remains in the property’s barn.

Jennifer Hoevers returned following the arrest, and said she was disgusted.

‘It took my breath away,’ she told FOX 4.

‘Fast food wrappers everywhere. There’s milk, rotting food everywhere.’

Ms Hoevers said the house was covered in black mold. There were bullet holes in the wall, bathrooms ripped apart and a swimming pool trashed.

Michael and Heather Jones had six girls living in the home at the same time as Adrian. They were as young as two and as old as 10, and have since been placed in protective custody.

Michael Jones is alleged by Heather’s brother to have abused his wife and the children for years.
