A man appeared in court today accused of pushing a commmuter in front of a Tube train leaving him in a coma with a suspected fractured skull.
Devindra Ferguson, 29, has been charged with the attempted murder of Kamlesh Ramji, who remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Highbury Corner magistrates' court heard that Mr Ramji was launched across the tracks at Kentish Town station before being hit by the train on Wednesday.

Prosecutor Christina Pasquali said: 'The victim suffered a possible fractured skull, internal organ injuries as well as chest injuries.'
Ferguson, from Colindale in North London, was remanded in custody and ordered to stand trial at Blackfriars Crown Court.
A local shopkeeper said that the victim Mr Ramji, who was apparently in his 40s, was a 'bit of a recluse'.
He added: 'Nobody around here really knew him. He came here to this shop every day and bought food and would just go.'
Following the incident, witnesses spoke of their shock at what they had seen.
