This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy, and issued in Abuja on Saturday.
According to the statement, 90 of the officers were promoted from the rank of Assistant Corps Commander to the rank of Deputy Corps Commander, while 35 Senior Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Chief Route Commander.
The statement also said that 24 Senior Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Senior Route Commander, just as 758 Deputy Route Commanders were promoted to the rank of Route Commander.
The Corps Marshal of the commission, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, expressed his appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for motivating his men to do more.
Oyeyemi, therefore, urged the newly promoted officers to justify the confidence of reposed in them bu the promotion.
The corps marshal also urged other officers of the commission to do more in the discharge of their duties so that they would be promoted when due.
Oyeyemi had said at various fora that the management of the commission would continue to do its best to motivate committed officers just as it would not hesitate to punish those who erred.
NAN recalls that FRSC commissioned a housing project that would provide 20,000 units workers of the commission.
