The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has quite an adorable family – three wives, Sadiya Ado Bayero, Maryam, and Rakiya, and twelve children.
Sanusi shared an adorable picture with his daughters yesterday, January 16 on his Instagram page and captioned it,
“Always Prioritize your Family. You see, I was told stories, we were all told stories as kids in Nigeria. We had to tell stories that would keep one another interested, and you weren’t allowed to tell stories that everybody else knew. You had to dream up new ones”.
Recall that the Emir came under harsh criticism after he married the 18-year-old daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa. Responding to the criticism, Sanusi said that those who see something filthy about the sacred bond should buy themselves a new brain.
Few months ago, Sanusi married Sa’adatu Barkindo-Musdafa as his fourth wife.
