We already had a that Zayn Malik‘s first solo record would be a huge hit, but after hearing a clip of his new song — which producer Raymond Angry posted online Jan. 16 — it’s obvious that it’s not only going to great, it’s going to reinvent music as we know it. Maybe his exit from One Direction was a good thing after all?
Thus far, Zayn has teased a few track titles and clips of new songs on Snapchat, but not much else is known about his highly-anticipated new album. So when Zayn’s producer friend Raymond decided to share a clip of a new song online, we became ecstatic. (We literally jumped up and down for joy.)
Ray is actually working with el Maliko on Zayn’s solo music alongside Jared Scharff, according to Sugarscape, and during a studio session, he posted a bit of a new song online. Unfortunately, it’s not much — it’s only thirteen seconds and there are no vocals — but it’s still enough to excite us. Zayn’s new stuff sounds amazing! Listen to the clip below.
