Breaking News: Buhari Begins Vacation, Osinbajo to Act As President

President Muhammadu Buhari has begun a 5-day vacation during which time, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will take over duties of the president.

President Muhammadu Buhari has begun a short vacation from today, February 5 to February 10, 2016.

This was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu via his twitter handle.


According to Garba, while the President is on vacation, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will perform the functions of the President.
