50 Cent, 40, has been ordered to court by a judge after he consistently uploaded several pictures to Instagram since filing for bankruptcy. The rapper also known as Curtis James Jackon III, is expected to explain the several photos he has posted on social media showing himself surrounded by money since filing for bankruptcy.
“I’m concerned about allegations of nondisclosure and a lack of transparency in the case,” Judge Nevins said at a hearing in Hartford, Connecticut, according to the Wall Street Journal.
“There’s a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process.”
In one of the photos, 50 Cent is seen in bed covered with bundles of money. It received 155,000 likes. The rapper filed for bankruptcy shortly before jurors were set to decide
whether he should pay additional damages to Lastonia Leviston, rapper Rick Ross’s ex-girlfriend, after a successful lawsuit.
