The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tom Ikimi, for receiving funds from Colonel Sambo Dasuki in the so called $2.1 Billion Arms Fund mismanagement.
Chief Tom Ikimi was quizzed by the EFCC operatives for over two days and was allowed to go home each day after interrogation because of his health.
Tom Ikimi defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support former President Goodluck Jonathan’s bid for a second term in the 2015 Presidential Election.
