President Buhari Meets Saraki, Others, Set To Sign 2016 Budget

All seems to be ready for the passage of the 2016 budget as President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday met with Principal Officers of the Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives at the State House over 2016 budget.

Present at the meeting were the Senate President Bukola Saraki, Minister of Budget and National Planning, Mr Udo Udoma, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara as they discussed how the budget is going to be signed in the coming days.

After the meeting, the Senate President spoke with State House correspondents and assured that they have all agreed on the way forward, adding that the budget will be signed in a matter of days.
