ASABA—NATIONAL leadership of Labour Party, LP, has suspended its 2015 Delta State governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, and 12 others for alleged anti- party activity, saying that the party in Delta State under Chief Tony Ezeagwu, was intact and has no plan to merge with All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state.
National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdulkadir Salam, who made the disclosure in Asaba while briefing newsmen, said the national leadership of the party was not aware of any agreement purportedly entered into with Chief Ogboru in the build up to the 2015 general election.
Salam said that Ogboru and 12 others were being slammed with indefinite suspension order in accordance with provision of the party’s constitution for anti party activities.
