Janet Jackson is pregnant! The 49 year old will be having her second child next year. Rumors had circulated that she’d be using a surrogate, but it has been confirmed according to ET that she is indeed pregnant.

“Am in the second leg of my tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson explained in a video posted to Twitter on April 6.

“I thought it was important that you be the first to know.

My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.” She’s long been keen to start a family with husband Wissam Al Mana.

Jackson was in her teenage years when she was said to have had a secret child and gave the baby to her oldest sister Rebbie to raise, but she continuously denied the story. There have been stories about a son named Omar and a daughter named Renee, but no one has actually seen pictures of the alleged children.

They said that the girl, who has been passing as Stevanna Jackson, her niece, has graduated with her masters from Harvard and that she spoke to the actual girl who revealed that her family covered up the fact that she was Jackson’s daughter.
