Former governor of Kwara state, Bukola Saraki has honoured his late father via Facebook on his post-humous birthday. This coincides with the senate president's trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal which has been threatening his highly-esteemed position as the number 3 man in Nigeria.
He posted this on his social media page:
His late father, Abubakar Olusola Saraki (17 May 1933 – 14 November 2012) was a Nigerian politician, who was a Senator of the Nigerian Second Republic (1979-1983). He was a ranking nobleman of the Ilorin Emirate.
Olusola Sakari died on Wednesday 14 November 2012 in Lagos at the age of 79 after losing a battle with cancer. He was laid to rest in Ilorin.
