A governor of a state in Nigeria has rolled on the floor begging God for forgiveness and his intervention over the things happening in his state.
The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom has been pictured on the floor begging God to forgive the sins of the people of the state.
The incident happened at a service to mark the end of a two-week compulsory fasting and prayers, held at the IBB Square in Makurdi, the state capital.
Ortom who mentioned that the state is passing through tough times as workers in the state are being owed 4-5 months with no completed project after one year, begged God for intervention.
He also revealed that everything will be in place to recover funds looted from the state by politicians. He said God told him the difficulties faced in the state was due to the sins of the people, hence the prayer.
