Aggrieved workers at the Ministry of Finance have continued their protest as they demand for all wrongs to be made right.
Workers at the ministry of finance continued their protest for the second day running today June 21 over unpaid N1.2bn special overtime allowance.
The Punch reports that the highly aggrieved workers proceeded to shut down all entrances to the headquarters of the ministry
But, unlike on Monday, when the workers allowed some skeletal services to go on while their protest lasted, business activities were on Tuesday completely paralysed as all the offices in the ministry were shut.
The workers in their hundreds stayed out of their offices from 8am when they resumed work and vowed not to attend to any official assignment until the arrival of the Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun.
They said their agitation would continue until the minister is either removed or their allowances paid.
As of the time of making this report, the protest is still on and the minister had yet to show up at the ministry.
