The governor was reacting to the campaign slogan of the PDP during the All Progressives Congress, APC, mega rally in Benin, the State capital on Tuesday which also witnessed the presence of President Muhammadu Buhari and other party leaders.
The former Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, president wondered why PDP failed to utilize the opportunity it enjoyed for many years to better the lives of Edo people and now clamouring to change the change which according to him had affected the people positively.
He claimed that there was nothing more to be changed in the state unless the PDP was aiming for a negative change which will only imply destroying the good job done by the APC.
Oshiomhole said, “The slogan of PDP in Edo State is that they want to change the change, they say, change the change.
“And I say good, for once, even armed robbers can say the truth. Now what is the change the PDP said they want to change in Edo State?
“They want to change the six-lane airport road to the way it was before? They want to change the red roof in our primary schools?
“They want to change the red roof in our secondary schools? They want to change the beautified ties in which the secondary and primary schools were built in Edo State?
“They want to change our five-star hospital? They want to change the six-lane on Okpokoba way? They want to change the six-lane on Isiloko road?
“They want to change the six-lane on Okpa Isiloko road? They want to bring Mammy water back? They want to bring pappy water back? I know you want more roads, schools and more hospitals,” he said.
