Biafra supporters 'Keeping Atonement' wear all-white garment praying to God

Thousands of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) took their protest to a spiritual level yesterday as they sought the face of God by fasting and praying for their leader Nnamdi Kanu who is being held on charges of treasonable felony.

The men who donned white apparel -laid on the ground (faced down) for what they labelled an 'Atonement' for the people of Nigeria.

The pro-Biafrans also prayed that their utmost wish to be a sovereign nationwould come to pass.

NigerianEye gathered that they started at about 6pm on the 11th of October and ended 6pm on the 12th of October, praying for at least 15 minutes every hour.

Many also fasted for many hours.

NigerianEye learnt that members were told to pray for forgiveness of their sins and ask 'Chukwu Okike Abiam' to help them restore Biafra just like he answered for the Israelites, whom they identify with as the true children of Chukwu Okike Abiama.
