The embattled Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank Thursday stated that the problem in the party was as result of the National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun administering it like a civil service.
Frank stated this, while briefing journalists on the disciplinary committee set up against him National leadership of the party.
The Deputy National Publicity Secretary, who stated that he would not appear before the Committee set up to investigate him, also stated that there is serious division between the party and the organs of government.
According to him, the national leadership of the party does not relate cordially with the Presidency and the Legislature, neither does the Legislature relate well with the Executive.
“These are as a result of bad leadership of the APC National Chairman,” he said.
Also the he alleged that it was bad leadership that has made the party not to replace four members of the National Working Committee that have been removed with appointments.
The members are Alhaji Lai Mohammed, former National Publicity Secretary of APC and now the Minister of Information and Culture; Engr. David Babachir, former National Vice Chairman North East, now Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Dikko, Umar Raddah,former National Welfare Secretary, now Director General SMEDAN and Oji Ngofa, Deputy National Secretary and now Ambassadorial designate.
