Ibrahim Magu, EFCC chairman says the body recovered billions of dollars in stolen funds by corrupt individuals, within the last six months.

The acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) Ibrahim Magu has boasted about his achievements as the leader of the anti-graft agency.
Magu on Tuesday, October 25, said his achievements have out-shined that of his predecessors – Nuhu Ribadu, Farida Waziri and Ibrahim Lamorde.
Speaking at the commission’s headquarters while hosting a team of participants of the Pakistani National School of Policy (NSP), Magu said the EFCC have recovered more funds in his tenure since its establishment.
“We have achieved a lot in terms of recovery of looted funds and properties in the past 11 months more than was achieved in the last 12 years of the existence of the commission,” Magu said.
