The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two criminal suspects for unlawful possession of three human heads sandwiched inside loaves of bread with inscribed names and amount on each.
A 24-year-old criminal, Jamiu Alabi, and her 32-year-old accomplice, Yemi John, were apprehended on Saturday night at Church Bus Stop, in the Ipaja area of Lagos State by operatives of the Nigerian police for unlawful possession of human heads.
According to The Nation, the suspect were alleged to have concealed three human heads inside loaves of bread as they reportedly sandwiched the heads in the breads with and inscribed names and amount on each.
It was gathered that that while one of them had Danjumo N20,000 written on it, the others had Yusuf N70,000 and Alhaji Mumuni N10,000.
The State's Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said the case was under discreet investigation.
“They were arrested on October 8, 2016 at about 2000 hours at Church Bus Stop, Ipaja, with a loaf of bread which contains three crushed human heads tied separately.
"They were labelled as Danjumo N20000, Yusuf N70000 and Alh Mumuni N10000. Suspects are detained while case is under investigation.”
