Unlike most president-elect, Donald Trump owns a private jet which he used to visit the White House on Thursday, November 10.
After winning the election, Trump broke tradition by taking his own Boeing 757 jet to a meeting with the outgoing president Barack Obama to discuss the transition period.
Having acquired the jet in 2011, Trump has spent a small fortune of about $100m customizing the aircraft to his liking with the latest technology and finest decor.
Trump is set for the White House in January 2017 and he would have to give up his luxurious jet for the Air Force One, which is owned by the US military and equipped with special security features to protect the commander in chief while in flight.
Below are some amazing features of the jet which he affectionately calls ‘the T-Bird’
1. Powered by Rolls Royce engines
The Boeing 757 is powered by a pair of Rolls-Royce RB211 turbofan engines. Trump was very keen to have this feature on his plane. It is incredibly powerful, although it is not the most fuel-efficient engine in the world.
2. 24-karat-gold fixtures
The seat belts, master bath, taps in the bathroom are 24-carat gold plated. Virtually every fixture in the plane is 24-karat-gold plated.

Trump was not the jet’s first owner. Boeing 757-2J4ER first flew in May 1991. In 1995, it was bought by Microsoft cofounder Paul Allen and served as a corporate runabout for his various interests.
In 2011, it took the place of Trump’s former plane, a Boeing 727 built in 1969.
See how Trump is being whisked around in complete luxury. Anybody that says money is not good is such a LIAR!
