Leaders of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders on Tuesday, November 1 visited Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose at the government house.
A close aide to Fayose, Lere Olayinka revealed that the Fulani herdsmen went to see the governor to express their support for the Ekiti anti-grazing law.
Fayose has come under heavy criticism for the anti-grazing law which has a minimum sentence of two years in jail for any herdsman grazing his cattle on somebody’s farmland.
