Obiano set to rehabilitate Umunze College Road

Governor Willie Obiano will soon flag off the Nsog­wu road for students and staff of the Federal Col­lege of Education (Tech­nical) Umunze.

He has started flag­ging off rehabilitation and reconstruction of roads.

Obiano had dur­ing his visit to the col­lege recently promised the rehabilitation of the road within two weeks. Although it is months now since that promise but Obiano could give excuse himself on the heavy down pour.


Staff and students of the Fed­eral College of Education (Technical), Umunze, Anambra State, still await the flag-off of the rehabil­itation work on the dilap­idated Nsogwu Road that leads to the institution.

The new Public Re­lations Officer of the college, Sam Otti, in a statement said the agony experienced by staff and students on the road would soon be over as the state government had promised to reconstruct the link road.

Otti said the busy road serves both the staff and students of the col­lege as well as residents of Nsogwu and other ad­joining areas within the locality.
