Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG, coached by former Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas, are willing to pay Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel £170,000 a week (over N66milion) to end his stay at Chelsea, The Sun reports.
The 29-year-old midfielder who has been at Chelsea since 2016, is yet to make an appearance for the Blues this season under new manager Antonio Conte.
However, he is currently earning £70,000 a week at Stamford Bridge.
But should Mikel cash in and moves to Shanghai, he could be earning more than the likes of Barcelona pair Andres Iniesta who earns are reported £165,000 per week and Sergio Busquets who earns £140,000 per week.
Mikel has made 374 appearances for the West London side, winning two Premier League titles, four FA Cup's, two League Cups, the Europa League and the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Shanghai SIPG are also set to sign Oscar for £52million next month.
The deal is in place and Oscar is set to earn £400,000 a week from his switch to the Far East.
