The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have visited Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia’s house premises on Wednesday, December
The anti-graft agency agents who arrived at about 7am in Ikoyi, Lagos state, and tried to get access to one of Ms Ofili-Ajumogobia’s houses failed to enter it.
Recall that the embattled justice is standing trial alongside Godwin Obla, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, on allegations of corruption and bribery respectively.
Ms Ofili-Ajumogobia had been detained on a 26-count charge of unlawful enrichment, forgery, and providing false information an EFCC official but was later released on bail.
Meanwhile, Mr Obla is being charged with bribing Ms Ofili-Ajumogobia with N5m while she was presiding over his case.
Both pleaded not guilty to the charges and have been granted bail
