PHOTO NEWS: Former Governor Orji Uzor-Kalu visits Nnamdi Kanu's parents
The former governor of Abia state Orji Uzor-Kalu on Tuesday, January 3, paid a courtesy visit to the parents of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
Orji visited His Excellency Eze I.O Kanu and his wife Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu at their palace in Etitinabu Isiama Afara Ibeku in Umuahia North, Abia state.

While Orji's purpose of visit is still unclear, NAIJ.com gathered that the former governor who left the king's palace at about 8 pm on Tuesday was there to discus way forward on the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
In the past month, the former governor had also visited Kanu in Kuje prison facilit, Abuja.
Orji, after his visit to Kanu told journalists that he discussed Kanu's release with the IPOB leader.
He also said he told Kanu that Kuje is not his home and they must work towards ensuring his release.
