The offence committed by the Commissioner's driver including driving with a fake government number plate, driving without a driver's license and without a seat belt.
When the Toyota driving Barr Egba, the wife of the Commissioner and legal practitioner was impounded for violation of Federal Road Safety Offenses. The wife the Commissioner Barr was said to be driving her children to school when she was apprehended by the road traffic officials.
After apprehension of the Commissioner's wife, said to have called her husband who came to the scene and ordered the driver to beat the road safety official. Social media is agog with news that the Commissioner was himself involved in the fight.

When the case was brought before the mobile court presided by the Magistrate Court presided by Dorothy Duke, the Magistrate judge ordered the the driver of the Commissioner Mr Calistus Okune was ordered to be reminded in Afokang prison until the 3rd of February pending the determination of the suite.
The wife of the Commissioner who is a lawyer was said to have been enraged by the pronouncement of the Magistrate. The wife is said to have thrown caution to wind because she is a relative of the Magistrate.
The wife of the Commissioner began ranting and disrupted the court process threatening to make sure that the road safety official is sacked from job for impounding a car that violated road safety rules. P power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The Commissioner is in last minutes consultation with different agencies to resolve the matter, however the Chief Justice of Cross seems disposed to protect the judiciary and law enforcement from further harassment by government officials.
