The National President, Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, Chief Bintan Famutimi, has announced Mrs. Joyce Akpata as the new Director-General of the chamber.
According to a statement, Akpata studied Law at the University of Abuja.

Called to the Nigerian Bar after graduating from the Nigerian Law School with a 2nd Class Upper Division, she won several “coveted” prizes at the Nigerian Law School.
She is a Chartered Secretary and also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the Durham Business School, United Kingdom.
Prior to joining the NACC, Akpata was the Head, Legal and Administration at a proprietary trading firm; Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at Odade Investments Limited; Head, Consultancy Unit of Odade Consulting Services Ltd.; and was until recently the Director-General of the Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce.
“Joyce is expected to bring her varied experience into the administration of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce,” the statement added.
