Goji testified while being cross-examined by a defence counsel, Mr Akin Olujimi (SAN).
According to Goji, when his team conducted the search on No. 6, Ogun River St., Maitama, Abuja, Badeh was in EFCC custody, but he did not accompany the team.
He also told the court that his team did not record the `number of each bill’ of the one million dollars recovered from the house.
After Olujimi said he had no further questions for the witness, the judge, Justice Okon Abang, discharged him and adjourned the matter till March 22 for continuation of trial.
Goji told the court on the last adjourned date that the EFCC received an intelligence report that several cars including SUVs were parked in the premises, but on getting there, the house was empty.
He, however, said on scaling the balcony and getting into one of the rooms, they discovered a red box, two way bills and a bag containing one million dollars.
He said Badeh, though in EFCC custody was present when his team conducted the first search on his property located at No.2 Nelson Mandela St. Asokoro, Abuja.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Badeh is standing trial for allegedly abusing his office by diverting funds meant for arms purchase to personal use.
