The group in a statement signed by it Chairman, Comrade Sylvester Chukwuemeka Eze and made available to reporters said the group resolved to queue behind Senator Uba is because of his experience, charisma, and selfless services to the ordinary citizens and residents of the State.
Eze further described Uba as a man of honour whose words are his bond. He said the Senator did a lot for the State when he was governor of the state in 2007. During his tenure, there were aggressive infrastructural developments, Eze stated.
Part of his statement reads:
"We have no doubt Senator Uba is the only aspirant who has the needed qualities to bring back the lost glory of Anambra."
"In Uba, we see a selfless leader who is always hungry to develop his people. When he was governor, we all enjoyed his style of governance, a government of infrastructural developments, our education was well funded and repositioned, he employed many youths, we have never had it good since he left, so, we have no option that to stand by him and ensure he wins the APC ticket to become the next Governor of Anambra"
"As a Senator, Andy Uba has affected so many lives positively, he has wiped off many peoples' tears; he empowered women, youths, he has helped many unemployed to be employed"
"Uba is not God, but when he promises, he fulfilled. His words are his bond, an honest and Godfearing man, with Uba, Anambra, at least will be in a save hand", Eze says.
