APC Chairman in Delta dies in auto crash

C​hairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ethiope West Council Area of Delta State, Chief Dick Onisuru,
​is dead.

​He was involved in a ghastly motor accident along the Agbarho/Ughelli section of the East-West road.

​The accident occurred when the late APC chieftain was returning from Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, where he had gone on a private business trip.

​The deceased last Sunday​, it was gathered, ​held a stakeholders’ meeting of members, elders and leaders of the party in Ethiope West on how to strengthen the party ​ahead of the forthcoming council elections ​in Delta.​

A chieftain of the party in the state, ‎Enyowhara Omoghene,
​told Punch ​that “Onisuru died in a ghastly motor accident on Wednesday 24th along Ughelli/Agbarho road on his way from Port-Harcourt.”

Omoghene ​lamented that his death was a big loss to his immediate family​ and the APC​.​

A​cting Spokesman of the APC, Engr. Leonard Obibi, ​also ​​confirmed the incident, saying Onisuru would ​be missed by party members.
