Dogara in a letter asked the Sultan of Sokoto Sa'adu Abubakar into intervene in the alleged plot by the governor to prevent the renovation
In the letter it is gathered that the Speaker said he started the reconstruction of the mosques in his constituency but was stopped by the state governor.
He said the governor directed the district head and the council chairman to either stop work on these mosques or face the consequence of losing the jobs.
Arguing that the Islamic religion teaches love and not discrimination, Dogara said he hopes the intervention of the Sultan and other clerics will help change the governor's mind and bring hope to the people of Bauchi.
