Operatives of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Intelligence Response Team (IRT), arrested two men for allegedly abducting Chief Imam/Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Jibrin Idris, on February 21.
The suspects, 31-year-old Musa Mohammed and 24-year-old Suleiman Isah from Ankpa, Kogi State, were arrested on 29th of May at Ninth Mile, Enugu State, and Ayinba in Kogi.

They allegedly confessed to be four in the gang, giving the names of others as Bashir and Mangal who are at large.
The police then confirmed that efforts are being made to arrest the two members currently at large.
