The Anti-Car Theft Detectives of the Niger State Police Command have intercepted a Toyota Land Cruiser Jeep along Mokwa-Minna road, reported stolen from Lagos State.
The suspects identified as Abdulrahman Mukaila, Aliyu Usman and Musa Moh’d, who are all nationals of Niger Republic, specialised in stealing vehicles from unsuspecting members of the public, mostly in the southern part of the country and transporting them to Niger Republic.
They most often solicit for domestic work from potential victims and thereafter dispossess them of their vehicles.
Abdulrahman Mukaila was a security guard to the owner of the Land Cruiser Jeep and took advantage of the period the owner travelled out of the country to move the Jeep.
The Command warns members of the public to be more care on who they employ as domestic staff. Investigation is ongoing.
