Nnamdi Kanu has revealed that federal government offered him five south eastern states to make up the proposed Biafra state.
The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) made this comment when leaders of Igbo Civil Society Coalition led by Prof. Obasi Igwe paid him a solidarity visit at his Umuahia home.

Kanu who spoke on Wednesday, July 19 said while he was in detention, he was offered Imo, Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi and Enugu state to form Biafra but he rejected it.
He instead insisted that he wanted a Biafra with Rivers and Benue States.
He said: “They gave me Biafra in Prison with only the five Igbo states; I said no, I want Benue and Rivers”
“Biafra is coming, there is nothing to stop it”.
Kanu also lashed out Igbo leaders for being against Biafra saying they have no interest in Igbo masses.

Meanwhile, Some Niger Delta militant groups declared their support for the leader of the IPOB over his decision to boycott the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra state.
The Nation reports that groups, Concerned Militant Leaders (CML), Niger Delta People Democratic Front (NDPDF) and Rainbow Marabas Squad (RMS) said they are unhappy over the May 30, 2016, when soldiers allegedly massacred harmless and innocent IPOB members.
we gathered that leaders of the groups, General Ben (CML), General Playboy (NDPDF) and General Aneaja (RMS), in a statement issued via online after their meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, demanded for justice for the victims of the May 30, 2016, Biafra Day celebration killings.
